About Mel Strunk, LCSW
I'm Mel Strunk, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing compassionate, specialized therapy in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I have over 20 years experience working directly with individuals who struggle with eating disorders. My clinical background includes work at The Renfrew Center, a nationally recognized treatment center specializing in eating disorder recovery, where I worked for ten years in the inpatient treatment facility and the partial program. In addition to my work with eating disorders, I have worked in a variety of different settings including schools, community mental health, and an adolescent treatment facility.

My undergraduate degree is in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University. I obtained my graduate education in Social Work at Widener University. I am also a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

I provide therapy in Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, Dewey Beach, Milton, Bethany Beach, Ocean View, and throughout Sussex County, Delaware. I work with individuals of all genders as well as family members who are affected by eating disorders. My mission is to help you develop positive self-esteem and live a life that you find rewarding. In a non judgmental atmosphere, I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, as well as a client-centered approach to assist my clients in managing stress, developing coping skills, and helping to utilize individual strengths.
